With more than 30 years of finance, accounting, real estate and corporate leadership experience, Steve Griffin focuses on effective risk management and cost control strategies for the Dow Hotel Company.
Griffin began his career with Arthur Anderson & Co as a senior accountant, then held the position of director of acquisitions for The Hillhaven Corporation. He also served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Olympic Property Management Company. He worked for Tully’s Coffee for seven years in various positions, including vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Prior to joining DHC in 2006, Griffin was the chief financial officer for WineBid.com.
A Seattle native, Griffin holds a B.A. in Business Administration Accounting from the University of Washington and is a Certified Public Accountant. He actively supports local hospitals and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, in addition to playing guitar in a rock and Motown band called "The Frustrations".
