- The Dow Hotel Company announces strategic alliance with Barcelona REIT to aquire 450 million dollars in hotel assets in the next year.
- The Dow Hotel Company launches Food & Beverage Operations Division in response to market requests, first operation opens at Embassy Suites SeaTac in Seattle area.
2009- The Dow Hotel Company named to Inc 5000 for second time
- Renovations completed at Hilton San Antonio including opening of SunSpot Restaurant
2008- BC Bistro Opens at Doubletree Hotel Chicago-O'Hare.
- The Sheraton North Houston successfuly re-opens after substaintial damange from Hurricane Ike.
- The Dow Hotel Company named to The Inc. 5000; at 3496 is the highest ranked hotel management company.
- Renovations completed in Lake Oswego and Houston.
- Conversion to Hilton in progress in San Antonio.
- "BC Lounge" concept debuts at The Crowne Plaza Lake Oswego.
- Tullys opens at Embassy Suites O'Hare and Doubletree O'Hare.
- The Dow Hotel Company again ranked 34th in Hotel Business Magazine's 2008 Annual "Top 100 Management Companies" Issue, 7 April 2008.
2007- Renovations are completed at The Marriott Suites Deerfield, Basil's Bisto premiers at the hotel.
- DHC purchases the Doubletree Hotel O'Hare Airport in a joint venture with The Prudential Real Estate Investors, in an operation named "Take Me Back to Chicago".
- Randall King named Corporate Director of Marketing and Revenue, moves to Seattle.
- DHC purchases The Radisson Hill Country Resort and Spa - San Antonio in a joint venture with The Prudential Real Estate Investors in an operation named "Texas Two Step".
2006- The Hilton Bellevue opens following a multi-million dollar renovation, including the company's sixth "Basil's Kitchen".
- The Radisson Cleveland is sold by Prudential Real Estate Investors.
- DHC and AEW Capital Management purchase The Marriott Suites Deerfield.
- AJ Kamara joins DHC as Corporate Director of Human Resources.
- Carol Silverstein named Corporate Director of Training and Managment Development.
- Stephen Griffin named Senior Vice President of Finance. Preivously he had been the CFO at WineBid.com and Tully's Coffee.
- The Clarion Hotel James Madison Norfolk, the company's first hotel, sells to a real estate developer.
2005- Michael Pitstick named Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
- The Dow Hotel Company ranked 41st largest hotel management company by Hotel Business Magazine’s annual management company issue.
- The 358 room Doubletree Hotel Bellevue in Washington State is purchased by a joint venture of The Prudential Real Estate Investors and The Dow Hotel Company. Conversion to Hilton is planned.
- The company's fifth "Basil's Kitchen" restaurant opens at The Crowne Plaza Lake Oswego.
- The Dow Hotel Company and AEW Partners purchase The Hilton Atlanta Northeast in thier first joint venture. This hotel was previously managed by DHC and will continute to be managed by DHC under a long term agreement.
- The Dow Hotel Company makes worldwide ranking; ranked 259th largest hotel company in the world by Hotels Magazine's annual "International Giants" issue.
2004- The Dow Hotel Company ranked 52nd largest hotel management company by Hotel Business Magazine’s annual management company issue.
- “The Dow is UP” – is the wall street based theme of this year’s senior management meeting. Mark Rosinsky and Murray Dow presented awards by “the Donald”.
- The Dow Hotel Company named “65th Fastest Growing Private Company” in Washington State by The Puget Sound Business Journal. Makes list for the 2nd year in a row.
- DHC begins management of The Marriott Suites Anaheim Hotel in Garden Grove, California, with 371 suites. Steve Falciani named General Manager. (Operation: DC 10, The Wizard of Boz.)
2003- DHC’s seventh hotel, The 420 room Sheraton North Houston is added under management. Robert Kisker named General Manager. (Operation: Remember the Alamo.)
- DHC’s third annual senior management meeting, “On the Ground Floor, building a great company” is held at The Hilton Atlanta Northeast.
- DHC named the 25th fastest growing private company in Washington State by The Puget Sound Business Journal.
- Mike Pitstick joins The Dow Hotel Company as Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing.
- In December, a joint venture between DHC and Prudential Real Estate Investors acquire The Crowne Plaza Hotel Portland in Lake Oswego, Oregon. (Operation: Kruse City). Lori Brooks named General Manager.
2002- DHC wins the “Conversion of the Year” Award from Embassy Suites at Hilton Hotel’s annual full service conference.
- The company obtains management contract for The 292 room Hilton Atlanta Northeast on behalf of it’s owners, CIGNA Corporation. Ernie Catanzaro named General Manger (Operation: One way or Another.)
- “The Time Machine”, is the theme for DHC’s 2nd Sr. Management Meeting at The Radisson Hotel Sacramento.
- Randall King moves from General Manager of Embassy Suites O’Hare to Regional Director Operations and is based at Radisson Hotel Sacramento.
- David Fincannon joins DHC as general manager of The Embassy Suites O’Hare.
2001- Bob Levy officially joins the company as VP Rooms Operations.
- Company has its first senior management meeting in Seattle, The Dow 500 – Winning the race for Profit.
- DHC secures management of The 296 room Doubletree Hotel Virginia Beach on Memorial Day Weekend. Employee count exceeds 1,000. (Operation: Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug.) Harvey Moore named regional director operations.
- The Rosemont Suites at O’Hare is converted to The Embassy Suites O’Hare.
- Carol Sage-Robin joins DHC as Corporate Director of Human Resources. DHC Moves to larger offices in Southcenter Place.
- In December, DHC assumes management of The Radisson Inn Cleveland Airport and converts it Radisson Hotel. (Operation: The Heart of Rock’n’Roll Still Beating, in Cleveland.)
2000- In March, DHC moves it’s corporate office to Southcenter Place, nearby the Seattle Airport.
- The James Madison Hotel Norfolk is re-flagged to The Clarion Hotel James Madison Norfolk.
- Tracey Woods joins The Dow Hotel Company.
- Bob Levy hired as contract consultant to manage renovation at The Radisson Sacramento.
- In September, Murray Dow flys to Chicago to meet with the sellers of The Rosemont Suites at O’Hare. There are over thirty offers on the hotel, he successfully convinces them to sell to a joint venture between DHC and Prudential Real Estate Investors.
- DHC debuts its first website, in November of 2000.
- As the holidays approach, task force completes transition at The 296 suite Rosemont Suites at O’Hare. Randall King named General Manager. (Operation DC3: She’s a Brick House).
1999- The James Madison Hotel in downtown Norfolk completes renovation.
- The company signs a letter of intent to purchase The Radisson Hotel Sacramento with Prudential Real Estate Investors.
- In December, a nearly “all volunteer” task force tackles transition at The 308 room Radisson Hotel Sacramento. (Operation: Rollin’ on the River.)
1998- First DHC Seattle office opens in Seattle. Julie Dow “temporarily” joins DHC.
- Murray Dow, Mark Rosinsky and Harvey Moore form 345 Granby Street, LLC and purchase a historic hotel in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Harvey Moore is named General Manager and plans a $1 million dollar renovation. (Operation: I shall return).
1997- Murray Dow opens first DHC office on Turkey Hill Road, in Westport Connecticut. Over the next four months, forms alliance with Mark Rosinsky and decides to move to Washington State.
- December 31, 1997 – The Dow Hotel Company, LLC is formed and registered by The Secretary of State for Washington State.
